The success of the BOW Program here in Maine is a result of our talented and dedicated volunteer instructors. All BOW Instructors strive to provide a safe, comfortable and hands-on learning experience for all participants. We have both men and women serve as instructors who bring a wide variety of experience and knowledge to the program.
We are so fortunate to have so many volunteers who enjoy sharing their love for the outdoors. There really is nothing truer than the heart of a volunteer.
Thank you to all of our instructors and volunteers!
We are always in search of new instructors and continuously seek to add new workshops to our program.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer instructor please contact Emily MacCabe at (207) 462-1017 or emily.maccabe@maine.gov.
We also look for volunteers who are willing to assist with the coordination of the Intro Skills Weekend each September at Camp Caribou in Winslow.
