All Women
By Jill Redfern

We come to BOW

From all walks of life

Some from luxury

Others from strife

But all are looking

For a new skill in life

                We are all women

We trade stories

As we trade names

Of our hopes and dreams

For why we came

We sing silly songs

Play campfire games

                We are all women

Some people don’t get it

This thrill we adore

To forgo the mall

To learn casting from shore

Or what the red

On a compass is for

                We are all women

But we are equal to men

With a little less package

So we hunt and fish

And throw a few hatchets

We even snore and fart

Like men in our cabins

                We are all women

It’s an incredible opportunity

This weekend we’re taking

We may even be

Some Maine guides in the making

We came as simple women

But look – It’s amazing!

                We are all women

So alas, it is over

We let a sad sigh

And pack up our cars

As we wave goodbye

To Bill, Ron, and Chris

And the rest of the guys

Hey… We can’t ALL be women!
