Just
sit right back and you’ll hear a tale
A tale of a weekend trip
To a little place called Caribou
And BOW camp fellowship
Many women
gather here
From
places far and wide
We’re here to learn our outdoors stuff
And spend 3 days outside, 3 days
outside
Everybody
settled in, we were all set to go
With Bucks & Does
Fly-tying too
Firearms & Range Safety
Campfire
Cuisine
Finishing
School was very cool
Here at Camp Caribou
The weather started getting rough
It rained on Saturday
We didn’t
care, we still had fun
We laughed the time away
Used a compass, shot a gun
Paddled a canoe
Learned
to fly fish, mountain bike
There were lots of things to do, lots of things to do
Built
a fire with flint and steel
Tried basic archery
And fur bearing critters from the woods
Their
pelts we got to see
Learned new words like “crepuscular”
Saw scat from coon and
deer
Then
had a lively auction
To help out for next year
Thanks to all the Caribou staff
And program volunteers
Great
job we say to all of you
We give you 3 big cheers, 3 big cheers
So now we all must say farewell
And pack up all our gear
Give
hugs to all our new found friends
We’ll see you all next year!
