A: Scholarships are available for the Introductory Skills Weekend in
the amount of $100 for eligible applicants. The scholarships are provided by the Friends of Maine BOW from funds they
raise from their annual silent auction. Applications for scholarships are available at the time of registration for
the 2010 Intro Skills Weekend.
Q: What type of lodging can I expect at BOW workshops?
A: Usually the lodging at BOW workshops is bunk style
in comfortable heated cabins. Showers and electricity are available and an effort to make sure participants are as comfortable
as possible is always made. One thing you can always count on at all BOW workshops is plenty of delicious food!
Q: Do I need to have all of my own equipment?
A: No. Any and all equipment is provided
for you at BOW workshops. The only exception is for any Beyond BOW hunting workshop - participants are usually asked
to have their personal firearms for hunting. A list of suggested clothing is provided in your confirmation packet when
you register for a BOW workshop.
